Gentoo GNOME : openRC vs systemd, le test ! https://video.calculate-linux.org/videos/watch/05a319d7-d4e7-425e-b1f6-b3c94361187b
12 years ago, on June 6, 2007, we announced the first release of #CalculateLinux. The very first Calculate ever was a #Gentoo that came as a #Stage4 and featured its own installer written in Perl and distributed separately. The first Calculators had no choice between desktop environments, as it came with the #KDE desktop on board. Releases were monthly for the first year and half.
We are so much excited to have you all. Make yourself at home, pinpoint your hobbies, add your favorite picture, share news, events, interests and more. Install a mobile application for distributed networking on your smartphone so you would come back to our federated world, wherever you are. #calculatelinux #fediverse #calculatesocial #mastodon
Today we sent our first invitation newsletter. Our Mastodon community is a bit like Babel: different tongues can be heard here! Feel free to speak yours. Anyway, we all share one: the idiom of open source standards. From now on, out network is open too! 🐧
